The Team

As a team that can take you from dirt to granite countertops, we are uniquely able to offer you a design-to-construction process so integrated, you will wonder why every construction firm doesn’t operate the way we do. You won’t need to hire a new person for every phase, because we guide you through every step. We handle the details, while you sit on the beach and watch your vision become reality. You didn’t choose the South Bay to take on more responsibility. You chose it because you want to wear flip flops to five star restaurants. You deserve it. We make it happen.

Partner, Director of Design

Hawlie Ohe is the Principal Interior Designer and head of White Sands Interiors. Specializing in residential design, Hawlie has created interiors ranging in style from contemporary to traditional, but most importantly rooms that are comfortable, sophisticated, and timeless. Her design mantra, “buy it once, buy it right,” speaks to her ability to create classic spaces that withstand the test of time. As the principal designer, Hawlie is obsessive over the details and takes a hands-on approach in every project that she is a part of. The proof is truly in her product. Over the years, she has cultivated a collaborative design process that helps her move quickly from inspiration to installation. Not only is the system efficient, but it helps to ensure that the result is a home her clients love. Hawlie completed her undergraduate degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. Prior to starting her interior design career, Hawlie worked as a television news reporter, entertainment host, and lifestyle blogger, the latter of which fueled her passion for design and interiors. Hawlie earned her post graduate degree from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles and trained under some of the most influential designers of the day. She now lives in the South Bay along with her husband and two young boys, embracing the coastal lifestyle.
